City Meet Information and Sign-up Communication Deadline

Good Morning, Parents,

Attached to this email is a document with all of the information about the upcoming city meet. This meet is on Friday and Saturday, July 18th and 19th. Friday will be 11 and up in the morning, starting at 8, and distance events following starting at 5. Saturday will be 10 and under starting at 8. If your swimmer wants to participate in this meet, we kindly ask you to let coaches know what they want to swim by today, July 10th. The host team asked us to provide 2 timers for Saturday for events 69 - 84, so if you're going to be there on Saturday, the sign-ups are open.

Also attached to this email are the DQ sheet and rules. Everyone got a paper copy at practice this morning, but we ask the parents to go over it as well and make sure their swimmer can complete their strokes with no DQs. If they cannot or are not confident that they can not complete a swim with no DQ's, we ask that they do not sign up for that event for this meet. This meet is a significant event and slightly more competitive than our other meets.

As for practices next week, they are only required for swimmers who are competing in the city meet. It will be one practice time, 8-915 for everyone competing.

Thank you parents, for all of your help this season! We greatly appreciate it!

Coach,

John Call
