End of Season Update

Hi swimmers and families! All the coaches would like to share how proud of all the swimmers we are. All of their hard work is definitely not going to waste and we love to see them forming friendships and doing it all with it a smile on their face.

The city meet is coming up on July 17th and 18th and we want to encourage confident and moderately confident swimmers to participate. 11 and up compete on the 17th and 10 and under compete on the 18th.  One thing to take into consideration is that the city meet is very strict about disqualifications so we will make sure to try and drill those into the kids' heads. We would love to try and do relays this year if we can gather enough swimmers! This meet takes much longer than all the others, so to have relays would mean that we may not have to wait 2 hours after the warm up before our first round of events.

Please respond to this email to let us know if your swimmers plan to swim in the city meet and which events they would like to compete in. All swimmers are more than welcome to come to practice through the 16th of July even if they are not swimming in the city meet. We will determine the practice time for the week of July 13th after we know how many swimmers plan to attend that week.

The state meet is July 24-26th in Littleton.  We have another league coach who is willing to sponsor any of our swimmers who have qualified and want to attend.  The qualification times and details are attached.

See you at the pool!
